Chatham has some great places to stop by and enjoy.

Chatham offers 3 gas stations: Smith's Lakeview, Chatham Grocery and Janet's Mini Mart. Smith's Lakeview and Chatham Grocery offer plate lunches and other lunch offerings. For your dining needs, we also have J & H Cookin' that offers lunch and dinner offerings.

Need a place to try your luck with a little fishing? Chatham offers a fishing pier and boat launch on the 175 acre Chatham Lake that is stocked with Florida Black Bass. If you just need a place to get out and enjoy a picnic, there's a place for that right next to lake by the Chatham Lake Dam.  

If Chatham Lake doesn't serve your needs, then there is Caney Lake.  Jimmy Davis State Park  is about 5 miles west on Hwy 4. A couple of miles farther south on Hwy 4 is Brown's Landing that offers a boat launch, a place to eat and get some gas. Another place to access Caney Lake is at the Caney Lake Marina, located about 5 miles south on Hwy 34.

For those times when you forgot something, running a little low on an item or need to fix something, Chatham has the Chatham Grocery Store, a Family Dollar Store and Chatham Hardware.

For medical needs during the week, Chatham has the Chatham Rural Health Clinic (6619 Hwy 134  318-249-2743) and the Chatham Medical Clinic (804 Chatham Ave  318-249-3200).

For any banking needs, there is People's Bank (6689 Hwy 34  318-249-2125). People's Bank is currently undergoing renovations and will be offering even more banking conveniences.
